COLT Email Security offers an intuitive policy rule writer so that you can create and then administer a specific policy to govern all email traffic in and out of your organisation. That means you can stay on top of the content of email and the type of attachments you allow,
sent or received by all your people.
To prevent damage or disruption by virus attack, we use multiple anti-virus engines to
scan all email. They are integrated at the application programming interface level and are updated constantly. As standard we use at least three different anti-virus engines and engage additional ones if the threat level is escalated.
We stop spam clogging up your organisation: at the first-level we use in-protocol rejection blocking known spam senders, and at the second level we use multiple spam filtering engines and a team of anti-spam experts to weed out as much spam as possible before it gets to you. We then quarantine spam so you can check it just in case there are messages that you want. This can be done in a range of European languages.
In the event of a disaster we queue inbound email for up to five days.
