COLT High Speed Services give you the fully managed, optical network solution that enables you to move and store high volumes of data with ease and confidence.
It's a totally reliable, resilient and secure service that's based on the latest technology, as well as COLT's wholly owned and managed private fibre network. We use Wave Division Multiplexing (WDM) - up to 48 channels that support multiple interfaces so you can run as many services over fibre as you need to, and achieve service connects at speed between 100Mbps and 10Gbps.
And you can use any interface that suits you: from SDH to Ethernet, ESCON, FICON and Fibre Channel.
We adapt the service to the structure of your business. You can choose a simple point-to-point topology to connect two sites, or a multiple point-to-point arrangement with or without dual nodes. You can also go for a ring topology that offers SDH-like protection with less than 50ms switchover time.
