IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) provides businesses with virtual resources located at data centres. These include storage, networking hardware, processing power and other infrastructure services. Businesses can buy as much capacity as they need and scale up or down as required, rather than having the infrastructure on their own premises.

Storage, servers and computing enjoy the highest levels of adoption on the European landscape, though the overall picture is relatively balanced in terms of IaaS usage.
