The perception that a move to the cloud equates to risk is mitigated to some degree by the acknowledgement that not all are in a suitable position to make a truly informed judgment. Almost half of those asked said that they aren’t yet able to fully evaluate the risks of cloud services.
At the same time, one quarter believed that mistakes had already been made by their business by moving the cloud without considering the full consequences of doing so. Respondents from France in particular were most conscious of that possibility, at 33 per cent.
Despite concerns about cloud, respondents are confident that cloud will take off in the next couple of years.
