Despite some concerns around cloud, it looks likely that cloud will become mainstream in the next two to three years. Indeed, six in ten CIOs think it will become the most significant method of IT delivery by 2014.
Spain and Italy appear to be more optimistic – where 52 per cent and 51 per cent of companies respectively believe cloud adoption will reach this level of penetration by 2013.
Although predictions vary, it is certainly a case of “when” rather than “if” as far as cloud adoption is concerned, with only 6 per cent remaining sceptical.
