Rakesh Bhasin, CEO Colt Technology Services

Rakesh Bhasin, Chief Executive Officer

Rakesh Bhasin was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Colt in December 2006. Prior to joining Colt, Rakesh was President and Chief Executive at KVH Co. Ltd, a Fidelity Asia-focused telecom and network solutions provider headquartered in Tokyo. He continues to be a non-executive Chairman of KVH Co. Ltd today.

Prior to joining KVH, Rakesh served in senior positions within AT&T, including head of AT&T Asia Pacific's managed network services business from 1993 – 1997 and President, AT&T Japan, Ltd. He was also Senior Managing Director, Japan Telecom Company Limited.

Rakesh received a Bachelor of Science degree in electronic engineering from George Washington University. He also attended the Berkeley Executive Program at the University of California at Berkeley and the Advanced Management Program at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.


François Eloy, EVP, Colt Communication Services

François Eloy, EVP, Network Services

François Eloy was appointed EVP, Network Services in May 2014 tasked with maximising network utilisation and positioning Colt as the preferred network services provider with extensive metro fibre assets in Western Europe and selected cities around the world.

Previously François was EVP, Colt Communication Services (CCS) from January 2011, responsible for selling transactional services to meet needs of the channel through an indirect client engagement. His preceding role was Managing Director of Wholesale with the remit of positioning Colt as Europe's leading information delivery platform supplier to Carriers, Service Providers and System Integrators that require solutions across Europe.

François joined Colt in January 2006 from BT Global Services where he successfully established BT France as a major new player with the launch of their Major Business Channel. He was previously with Equant for 10 years in a variety of roles, culminating in the position of Managing Director, Equant France.


Mark Ferrari, Chief Financial Officer

Mark Ferrari, Chief Financial Officer

Executive Director, 53, was appointed as Chief Financial Officer on 31 March 2011, having been a Non-Executive Director since 1 January 2009. He is a former Managing Director of Devonshire Investors and also served as Chairman of FIML Natural Resources and Backyard Farms Holding, LLC and as director on the boards of a number of other Devonshire portfolio companies. Prior to joining Fidelity, Mark was Vice President of Finance at Kronos Inc and began his career at Ernst & Young.


Dr Jürgen Hernichel, EVP, Colt Enterprise Services

Dr Jürgen Hernichel, EVP, Colt Enterprise Services

Dr Jürgen Hernichel is the Executive Vice President of Colt Enterprise Services, which delivers complex IT and communications solutions to large enterprises across Europe and beyond. He was formerly EVP, Business Services Unit (BSU) and was responsible for integrating the activities of Colt’s Shared Service Centres. Before that, Jürgen was Managing Director, Northern Region and Managing Director, Germany for Colt.

Prior to joining Colt, he spent seven years with T-Systems international – the business customer arm of Deutsche Telekom AG. At T-Systems, Jürgen was Managing Director Sales and Marketing which gave him responsibility for the worldwide major enterprise business of Deutsche Telekom AG.

He has also worked for NASA in California, USA and held senior positions at Thyssen Handelsunion, playing an important role in the foundation of Thyssen Telecom AG.

Jürgen holds a PhD in physics and an MBA from University of Cologne.


Mark Leonard, EVP, Infrastructure Services Unit

Mark Leonard, EVP, IT Services

Mark Leonard is the Executive Vice President of IT Services, which provides managed infrastructure solutions and IT Services for enterprises and channel partners.

Mark joined Colt as Chief Information Officer (CIO) in February 2008 with the responsibility for the management and development of Colt's IT systems. In January 2011, he was appointed Executive Vice President, Infrastructure Services Unit (ISU), and was responsible for integrating the activities of Operations, Technology and IT.

Mark has extensive experience of IT within the telecoms sector, having held the position of CIO at Vodafone UK, IT Director at NTL, as well as a senior management role at IBM Global Services. Prior to working in the telecoms sector, Mark worked in senior IT roles in banking and retail.


Paul Musson, EVP, Human Resources

Paul Musson, EVP, Human Resources

Paul Musson was appointed EVP, Human Resources with effect from January 2011. Paul has a clear remit to drive the people and performance agenda ‘top down’ across Colt’s business and service units.

Paul recently completed a successful period as Director, People & Organisation Development where he led the implementation, continuous improvement and effective use of the Colt Talent Management system, to support improved performance and career management. He also championed enhancements to our recruitment processes and developed our leadership development programmes. Paul was a key member of the strategic project team supporting the implementation of the new operating model through concept and design to implementation.

Paul has over 22 years’ experience in Human Resources, working at a leadership level, with his last two appointments being corporate roles at global FTSE 100/S&P 250 companies, BAE Systems & Weatherford International.

Paul holds an MSc in People & Organisation Development from the University of Sussex. 


Richard Oosterom, EVP, Voice Services

Richard Oosterom, EVP, Voice Services

Richard Oosterom was appointed EVP Voice Services in May 2014 responsible for managing Colt’s Voice business end to end. This encompasses the commercial success of the entire portfolio of traditional voice, VoIP, IN and Unified Communications sold and delivered to both Enterprises and Service Providers.

Previously, he was EVP Group Strategy & Business Development, responsible for the wider Colt strategy and the execution of strategic initiatives within Colt’s business plans.

Prior to this, Richard spent two years as the MD in Germany, and has held a number of senior management positions including head of Major Business and head of Sales Operations and Support. He joined Colt in 2002 as MD Colt Benelux.

Before Colt, Richard worked in the IT industry in executive roles for companies including Cap Gemini and EDS (now HP).


Caroline Griffin Pain, Company Secretary

Caroline Griffin Pain, Company Secretary

Caroline Griffin Pain was appointed Company Secretary in April 2005.

Caroline joined Colt from a Reuters joint venture, Radianz, where she was Company Secretary having previously held senior management positions at Antfactory and Rea Brothers Group plc where she was General Counsel. 


Sohail Qadri

Sohail Qadri, EVP, Strategy and Business Development

Sohail Qadri was appointed EVP, Strategy and Business Development in September 2014. He is responsible for developing Colt’s profitable growth strategy across all lines of business, ensuring that Colt continues to support its customers with the most appropriate infrastructure services and products. Sohail is also responsible for the development of the Colt brand.

Sohail has had leadership roles in key telecommunications companies undergoing major strategic change. He has led on the creation of customer oriented organisations and brands, the execution of commercial plans, M&A activities as well as culture change initiatives. He has served on company boards in Asia, Europe, North America and the Middle East. Previous roles include Group Strategy Director at O2, where Sohail led on the transformation of the business and the development of the O2 brand. At Telefónica, Sohail was the Group Director of Strategy, Business Development and Innovation.  


Detlef Spang

Detlef Spang, EVP, Data Centre Services

In April 2014 Detlef Spang was appointed EVP for Data Centre Services, taking over from Adriaan Oosthoek. Detlef returned to Colt in December 2013 to work on Project Dynamo and is currently on secondment from Devonshire Investors. Detlef had previously worked for Colt from 2004-2011 and held various senior management positions and P&L responsibilities reporting into the CEO. These positions included MD for Major Enterprise Division, MD for the UK, MD for Germany and MD for Sales and Marketing.

During 2011-2013 Detlef was the MD for International Portfolio oversight and various Strategic Projects at Devonshire Investors in London. Previous to this, Detlef worked for Global One Alliance/Equant from 1993-2004 starting as a Sales Rep at Joint Sprint in Frankfurt working his way up to Senior VP of EMEA responsible for 1.3bn US$ business.

Detlef has also worked for Cable and Wireless from 1991-1992 and Rank Xerox, Germany.


Falk Weinreich

Falk Weinreich, EVP, Colt Communication Services (CCS)

Falk Weinreich was appointed EVP, Colt Communication Services (CCS) in January 2014 and is responsible for the strategic direction and next phase of growth of Colt’s indirect business unit focussed on selling branded and unbranded transactional services. As a key member of Colt’s leadership team, Falk is focussed on delivering exceptional customer service and value.

Prior to this he served as Sales Vice President of CCS, where he facilitated a high rate of business expansion, introducing new channels into Colt’s indirect go to market strategy. Before that, in his role as Strategic Accounts Director he was responsible for growing Colt’s large global carriers, service providers and system integrators to 25% of the company’s net profit. Previously, he spent eleven years at Colt in Germany in various senior sales and marketing leadership positions most latterly as Head of Wholesale in Germany.

Falk joined Colt in 1996 after graduating from Johan-Wolfgang Goethe University with a Diploma in Business Administration. He speaks three languages and is married with a child.


 

Rakesh Bhasin- Colt Board of Directors

Rakesh Bhasin
Président directeur général, a été nommé au Conseil d'administration le 13 décembre 2006. Rakesh occupait précédemment le poste de président et directeur général de KVH Co. Ltd, une entreprise de télécommunication Fidelity implantée en Asie et un fournisseur de solutions réseau basé à Tokyo. Il occupe encore le poste de président du Conseil non membre de la direction de ladite entreprise. RaKesh a précédemment occupé les postes à  haute responsabilité à AT&T et Japan Telecom Company Limited.


 Olivier Baujard  - Colt Board of Directors

Olivier Baujard
Directeur non exécutif, Olivier Baujard a rejoint le conseil d'administration de Colt le 24 avril 2014.

Il était précédemment Chief Technology Officer (CTO) chez Deutsche Telekom AG, l'une des plus importantes entreprises mondiales de télécommunications. Dans sa carrière, il a occupé des postes associant des fonctions techniques, de stratégie et de management général à un niveau international pour des grands groupes européens de télécommunications et de services d'ingénierie.

Il a été nommé directeur exécutif au Conseil d'administration le 1er janvier 2009, comme un administrateur non dirigeant et est devenu directeur financier le 31 mars 2011.

Il est aussi membre consultatif du Conseil d'administration de KVH. Il avait antérieurement occupé le poste de chef de l'exploitation de Fidelity Capital, de Devonshire Investors, de Fidelity Broadband Group, président de FIML Natural Resources et Backyard Farms Holding LLC et directeur aux Conseils d'administration de plusieurs entreprises du portefeuille des entreprises Devonshire. Avant de rejoindre Fidelity, Mark accupait le poste de vice-président de finance à Kronos Inc. Il a fait le début sa carrière à Ernst& Young.


Sergio Giacoletto - Colt Board of Directors

Sergio Giacoletto
Administrateur non dirigeant, il a été Nommé au Conseil d'administration le 22 juillet 2009.

Sergio était le vice-président exécutif d’Oracle Corporation de la zone de l’Europe, du Moyen Orient et de l'Afrique jusqu'en décembre 2008. Avant de rejoindre Oracle, il était président de services à valeur ajoutée chez AT&T et avant cela il a passé 20 ans à Digital Equipment Corporation aux postes de direction et de cadre exécutif. Il est présentement administrateur principal indépendant de Logica Plc et administrateur non dirigeant de CSR Plc. Sergio est titulaire d'un Master en informatique obtenu à l'Université de Turin.


Simon Haslam - Colt Board of Directors

Simon Haslam
Administrateur non dirigeant, il a été nommé au Conseil d'administration le 16 janvier 2007.

Simon est président de la division Moonray Investors de FIL Limited. Il occupe un poste de directeur chez FIL Limited, dans ses nombreuses filiales et des fonds gérés par FIL Limited et ses filiales. Il est également un administrateur non dirigeant de KVH Co. Ltd. Fellow de l'Ordre des comptables agréés, Simon a été d'abord un associé d'audit et de conseil à Deloitte, et un administrateur non dirigeant d'Euroclear Plc.


Tim Hilton - Colt Board of Directors

Tim Hilton
Président, a été nommé comme membre du Conseil d'administration le 26 mai 1999 et comme président dudit Conseil le 16 janvier 2007.

Tim est président de DI International, une entreprise indépendante apparentée à Fidelity Investments. Tim a été successivement président de Fidelity Capital, de Fidelity Broadband, de Fidelity Ventures et de Devonshire Investors. Avant de rejoindre Fidelity Investments en 1996, Tim était un partenaire de l'entreprise américaine de conseil juridique Sullivan & Worcester LLP.


Katherine Innes Ker - Colt Board of Directors

Katherine Innes Ker
Administratrice non dirigeante, elle est nommée au Conseil d'administration le 1er septembre 2013.

Katherine occupe actuellement le poste d'administrateur principal indépendant à Go-Ahead Group Plc et à Tribal Group Plc. Dans ces deux entreprises, elle préside le Comité de rémunération et est membre aux comités d'audit et de nomination. Elle est également administratrice indépendante non dirigeante à S&U Plc et siège aux comités de nomination, de rémunération et d'audit. Depuis plus de 15 ans, Katherine est membre d'un certain nombre de Conseils d'administration notamment, ITV Digital et Fibernet Group. Avant d’embrasser sa carrière dans le portefeuille NED, Katherine était analyste principale de la ville chez SBC Warburg, Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, Henry Ansbacher et UBS Phillips & Drew.


Anthony Rabin - Colt Board of Directors

Anthony Rabin
Administrateur non dirigeant, il a été nommé au Conseil d'administration le 20 juillet 2011.

Il a occupé un poste de directeur exécutif de Balfour Beatty plc pendant 9 ans, 6 ans comme directeur financier et 3 ans comme directeur adjoint, entreprises dans lesquelles il assumait l'entière responsabilité de la division d'investissement du groupe, de la gestion du risque et de l'assurance au sein du groupe. Il prend sa retraite de Balfour Beatty en 2012. Il est un Fellow de l'Ordre des comptables agréés du Royaume-Uni.


Michael Wilens - Colt Board of Directors

Michael Wilens
Administrateur non dirigeant, il fait son entrée au Conseil d'administration, le 1er janvier 2012.

Micheal occupe le poste de président de la division de gestion des actifs et de la division de technologie et des opérations de l'entreprise Fidelity. Il était d'abord président directeur général de la division juridique chez Thomson Reuters North American (Westlaw) et technicien en chef chez Thomson Reuters. Il a également occupé le poste de président directeur général de Legion, une division du Group Lagard et président directeur général/co-fondateur de nombreuses jeunes entreprises de logiciels et d'informations.


Caroline Griffin Pain - Colt Board of Directors

Caroline Griffin Pain
Secrétaire d'entreprise, est nommée au Conseil d'administration en avril 2005.

Caroline a rejoint Colt suite à une joint venture avec Reuters, Radianz, entreprises dans lesquelles elle occupait le poste de secrétaire après avoir occupé les postes de cadre supérieur à Antfactory et à Rea Brothers Group plc où elle occupait le poste de chef du contentieux.
