We are delighted that Colt Data Centre Services has won the Modular Data Centre Solution award from Broad Group at the Fifth Annual Data Centre Awards. We had some stiff competition from our industry peers. The judging criteria is strict and focuses on a number of factors including: performance, sector penetration, unique features and standardisation. The award also considered our development principles, innovation and how we future-proof our data centres.

Colt is committed to transforming how data centres are designed, delivered and operated and it’s been great to see Broad Group recognise that. Our commitment to lowering power costs, increasing flexibility and increasing speed of delivery has paid off over the past twelve months.

It’s been an amazing year for Colt Data Centre Services. Our Iceland installation with Verne Global garnered international praise, our delivery of a modular data centre to Jaguar Land Rover showed our flexibility, speed and technical proficiency, while our announcement of building a new modular data centre in the Netherlands shows our commitment to our customers and the industry.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the team here at Colt DCS for their tireless dedication to making us one of the leading providers working in the sector today. We’re growing the team here at DCS and our appointment of Victor Smith as Product Director goes to show that we’re committed to continuous innovation. We’re looking forward to the next twelve months and showing businesses where we can take the Data Centre sector.
