Colt provides integral connections for new King’s Cross Business Park

I’m delighted to say that Colt has successfully provided new connections for two customers residing on the new King’s Cross Business Park development in London.

This is important for several reasons. First of all Colt was one of the first suppliers allowed on site to start integrating equipment for our customers and secondly the installation was completed within the space of one week. This not only demonstrates why Colt is a trusted partner for our customers but also our strong relationship with the business park development management team.

One of our customers, the network services provider Cablecom, described our installation: “To successfully complete the deployment on time and within such a tight time-scale was a tremendous achievement and very much appreciated by us all.” It’s always nice to have positive feedback, but especially appreciated in this case as the King’s Cross Business Park is at the cutting-edge of commercial property development.

The development itself will consist of fifty new buildings across twenty new streets, including London’s largest new street since Kingsway was built in 1904. Some 45,000 Londoners will live and work in the area. That development management teams can work closely with us and rely on us to deliver our installations quickly place us in a great position. It’s good to win new customers, but it’s even better to be recommended.

It’s very satisfying to know that you have done a good job but the most important aspect of our installation is the knowledge that Colt’s full range of services can be delivered to each building we connect. Even though each customer has specific requirements, we’re able to provide all of our services across our connections, giving our customers’ maximum flexibility when it comes to determining what they might need to make their new offices run smoothly.

Some might argue that this is a standard practice for Colt and nothing unusual. For me, it represents a great achievement that not only shows that Colt is at the cutting edge of commercial connectivity, but also that we are a solidly reliable company, trusted to perform professionally and efficiently.
