COLT launches its 2009 European Partner of the Year Awards

COLT, a leading European provider of business communications, today announced the launch of its 2009 European Partner of the Year Awards. Now in its fourth year, the Partner of the Year scheme is designed to recognise and reward COLT’s top performing partners, both on a national and pan-European level.

There are five categories for the 2009 COLT European Partner of the Year awards:

Sales and Marketing Agent of the Year
Open to all agency partners, and based on absolute revenue growth in 2009 versus 2008

Sales and Marketing Reseller of the Year
Open to all resellers, and based on absolute revenue growth in 2009 versus 2008

Business Win of the Year
Open to all partners, and based on the largest value Data or COLT Managed Services deal signed during 2009

New Partner of the Year
Open to any partner who started billing with COLT since October 2008, and based on absolute revenue in 2009

Innovation Partner of the Year
Open to all partners, and based on the implementation of an innovative strategy, campaign or product to drive revenue growth

All COLT partners are eligible to be nominated by their local COLT partner management team and each COLT country will recognise a winning partner each of the five categories. The local country winners are then put forward for a pan-European award in that category.

Gary Moore, Director of Partners, COLT said “COLT’s European partner channel went from strength to strength in 2008 with more than 100 new partners added to our community. We feel that recognising our top performing partners – particularly during these tough economic times – is a vital part of driving our business forward."

The European Partner of the Year Awards is a key feature of COLT’s partner programme, COLT Community, which offers partners new tools and initiatives around four pillars: Partnership, Marketing, Product and Rewards.
