Caroline Griffin Pain is responsible for the Company Secretariat and Legal functions at Colt. She joined Colt as Company Secretary in April 2005 and is responsible for corporate governance at Colt and acts as Corporate Secretary to the Board, Audit Committee and Remuneration Committee. Caroline is also responsible for Corporate and Commercial legal matters and leads Colt’s global team of 40 lawyers. Caroline is Chairman of the Corporate Compliance Committee, dealing with Code of Conduct matters, Whistleblowing and Ethics and responsible for implementing and monitoring Colt’s anti-bribery programme. She is a company trustee of the UK Pension Scheme.
Caroline joined Colt from a Reuters joint venture, Radianz, where she was Company Secretary having previously held senior management positions at Antfactory, a private equity incubator and spent nine years at Rea Brothers Group plc, a quoted financial services group, where she was General Counsel. Caroline qualified as a solicitor in 1990.
