A warm welcome to our new franchisee

HomeBlogsA warm welcome to our new franchisee

Today we welcome Northdoor into our growing European franchise network. As a UK IT solutions provider for the financial services and insurance industries, Northdoor will be able to offer its SMB customers a broader range of services, including Colt’s award winning, Ethernet, IP VPN, IP Access, and Voice services as well as the Colt Ceano cloud porftolio. By combining its own expertise in providing consultancy and delivering solutions that add value to its customers’ businesses with Colt’s leading Integrated Network and Communication services, Northdoor will be able to further strengthen its customers’ operational efficiency. We first launched the Colt franchise network in 2011 with a goal of establishing meaningful partnerships with companies that have an IT, voice or data background, skills in network management and data migration, and a strong growth strategy. We wanted to attract partners with expertise in local markets that would be able to complement their existing portfolio with Colt services in order to offer their customers a range of new solutions that address their business requirements. At the same time we recognised an opportunity for Colt to reach a wider SME audience in a variety of verticals and geographies cost-effectively, by partnering with local IT providers who already have an existing loyal customer base and strong local and sector specific knowledge. It’s a difficult market for IT service providers today as they have to keep up with emerging market trends and evolving customer needs. By forming a partnership with Colt, not only can they offer customers new services without a direct investment, but they also benefit from additional revenue and support in terms of training, market intelligence and lead generation. It’s a win-win situation for the end-user who benefits from access to additional services from one trusted provider, simplifying the purchase process. Customers have one Service Level Agreement and access to integrated technology solutions that are scalable and meet their changing requirements as their business evolves. We’re highly committed to helping our partners succeed and in the last two years we’ve been refining our proposition to offer partners access to tools such as digital marketing, joint propositions and special offers, so they can easily represent Colt at every stage of the customer relationship from selling the service portfolio through to order handling, implementation and billing. We already have 12 partners signed up in the UK, Belgium, France, Italy, Spain and Germany and are looking to increase this to 25. Watch this space for further developments.
