Matthias Rietig, Senior Officer, Osaka Exchange, Inc.-JPX & Chief Representative, Singapore Branch, Osaka Exchange, Inc. JPX (Japan Exchange Group)
Matthias is Senior Officer and Chief Representative of Singapore Branch of Osaka Exchange, Inc. (OSE), the derivatives arm of Japan Exchange Group (JPX). Since joining Osaka Securities Exchange (current Osaka Exchange) in 2006, he has led OSE’s international derivatives marketing with a focus on driving the growth and expansion of OSEs global investor base.He also played a key role in the integration of the derivatives markets between OSE and Tokyo Stock Exchange in March 2014. He has been based in Singapore since 2012, further developing communication with Asian and global investors.
Rajneesh Kaushal, Head of Futures Electronic Trading APAC Barclays
Joined Barclays in 2007 and is based in Singapore, Raj is in-charge of Barclays Futures electronic trading business across Asia Pacific. Responsible for product development, building relationship with market participants as well as providing execution consulting to buy-side clients.
Gerben van Veldhuijsen, Head of Corporate Strategy, Optiver
Gerben van Veldhuijsen is Head of Corporate Strategy for Optiver APAC, based in Sydney.
Gerben joined Optiver Europe in 2009 and moved to Australia in 2014, transitioning to his current role in 2018. He has since been responsible for market structure relationships and various business development activities in the APAC region. Gerben is a board member of FIA Japan, chair of the FIA Japan Principal Trading Group (JPTG) and represents Optiver on various external committees.
James Hardcastle, Business Development Director-APAC, Capital Markets, Colt Technology Services
James Hardcastle is Business Development Director, Colt Capital Markets Solution Sales, Asia Pacific at Colt Technology Services where he joined the team in July 2016. James’ career has spanned more than 20 years in Capital Markets starting in London, UK as a Technical Consultant working on numerous projects for tier-one investment banks across Europe.
Previously, Peter’s 16+ year career was spent at Citigroup, Deutsche Bank and most recently at Royal Bank of Scotland. He is an alumnus of Imperial College London (BEng) and HEC Paris (MBA).
Wesley Elder, Capital Markets Product Director, Colt Technology Services
Wesley has been in Colt for the past 9 years. Currently, he is the Product Director for Colt Capital Markets Solution Sales. Wesley joined MarketPrizm in 2011 prior to the acquisition by Colt. He has held various positions within Colt and traveled with the world. He has spent 5 years in London, 3 months in Japan, 5 years in Hong Kong, and 2 years in Singapore.
