Colt is expanding its coverage of SIP trunking beyond its existing footprint of 13 western European countries in which it currently operates.
Based on increasing customer demand and as part of our strategy to extend our coverage, we have now rolled out our fully featured SIP trunking service, VoIP Access in Czech Republic, Luxembourg, Romania and Slovakia. We offer a true pan-European solution to wholesale customers with reseller-enabled tools, enabling them to provide a sophisticated service to multi-national businesses looking to centralise their telephony and communications services with a single supplier.
Colt VoIP Access benefits customers by providing a single point of contract, contact and billing, with a comprehensive feature set including unrated CDRs via our B2B interface Cocom in all countries, as well as being highly available and regulatory compliant. Customers can choose amongst a broad range of connectivity options, combined with Colt’s strong portfolio of Ethernet and IP VPN services.
Colt enjoys an excellent reputation in the market for its SIP trunking services, being ranked high as one of the top players in this year’s Gartner report. The expansion will further increase our strong positioning and competitiveness, while responding to growing customer demand to further consolidate their communications services.
By the end of 2015, our European coverage is planned to further increase with the addition of Norway and Finland. We plan to integrate Japan with the SIP platform provided by Colt’s acquisition of KVH, now known as Colt Asia.
