Why move to OCI & solving connectivity challenges of on premise to OCI migrations

Wednesday, Feb 12 | 15:20 - 15:55 | Arena I - Zone 4
Thursday, Feb 13 | 09:00 - 09:35 | Arena D - Zone 4

With cloud today still only accounting for circa 20–25% of company based workloads, the growth of public cloud adoption is set to increase in terms of mission-critical, core applications and systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Database Management Systems (DBMS). Building on a heritage of enterprise reliability and trust, you will hear how Oracle’s Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) second-generation, security-first cloud, represents Oracle’s capabilities in delivering the levels of higher security, performance, availability, and reliability that its customers expect and require for Enterprise critical workloads.  Colt Technology Services will reveal the connectivity challenges associated with the migration of mission-critical workloads to OCI, with a focus on its market leading On Demand platform. Colt On Demand provides flexible high bandwidth connectivity from 25,000 enterprise customer locations to the Oracle Cloud, all enabled in near-real time.
