PRYCONSA moves SAP development to the cloud with Colt’s help

PRYCONSA is a leading property development company operating in Spain’s real estate sector. Property development is subject to fluctuating economic conditions and they required some built in flexibility in their infrastructure that would allow them to scale up and down in response to market activity.

Colt’s SAP solution appeared the right fit for their particular needs. Needing to upgrade the hardware supporting the SAP solution, they opted to move their servers to a private cloud based on infrastructure as a service (IaaS). Colt’s cloud IaaS option was a great alternative to their normal lengthy planning and implementation process.

Migrating to Colt Enterprise Cloud enables PRYCONSA’s small IT team to concentrate on defining new business related projects, instead of worrying about infrastructure maintenance, fault-fixing or configuration. The pay-as-you-grow scalability options that come with it has inspired PRYCONSA to consider deploying further applications in the cloud to enable work centre virtualisation, including 300 remote virtual desktops.

With many other projects on the horizon, their partnership with Colt has a bright future.

From the attention Colt gives to the customer and the level of service provided, to the security of access, the infrastructure service availability, and Colt’s technical team, we have no complaints in any area- CIO, PRYCONSA
