As an addition we can offer can offer customers an additional layer of security, by providing you with a caged area or a securely contained aisle, to which only you will have access. Colt Colocation Product Features / Options
Rack based services: For single or multiple rack solutions in the general colocation area, we provide lockable industry standard racks designed to accommodate multiple equipment form factors. Where equipment dictates a specific form factor, Colt will endeavour to accommodate.
Cage based services: For additional security our cage based solution add an additional security layer around the rack based services to provide an area with exclusive access to you and Colt. Power usage is applicable where the customer has opted to pay for metered energy consumption.
Dedicated data hall services: When dedicated facilities are required, we offer complete data halls at a Colt facility. These facilities are available on demand in some locations or in a short time frame in others and are built using our market leading Colt ftec architecture.
Remote hands service: Our optional Remote Hands service allows Colt’s on-site expertise to perform remote hands activities on your behalf when local intervention is required. The service is available on a subscription basis for a set level of hours per month, or as an ad hoc service. Remote Hands services are performed under customer instructions and may be scheduled in advance or “on demand” basis.
