James Halberstadt has over 20 years of experience designing and delivering Wide Area Networks and cloud hosted solutions for multinational Enterprise customers. James spent 5 years working in pre-sales in New York from 2005 followed by 6 years at Interoute, leading the sales engineering, bid management and sales support functions in the UK. Prior to joining Colt, James held the position of Managing Director of CITIC Telecom CPC in Europe, supporting the integration of LINX telecom with CITIC CPC in Asia.
John Volkering, EMEA Technical Director and Senior Network Architect, Versa Networks
John has over 25 years experience in the networking industry, covering senior pre-sales and architect positions in various size networking vendors. Such vendors include Xylan, Lucent Technologies, Redback Networks, and Ericsson among others. John has a strong belief that future networking will be Software Defined, running on merchandised hardware both in cloud as well as on-prem. John holds a Batchelor’s degree in Data Communications and Electronic Engineering.
