Intervals for new services

Here is how long it typically takes us (in business days) to install new service from customer signed date to install date. The intervals shown on this page are non-binding estimates and are subject to change at any time at Colt's sole discretion.

  • We provide SLOs in initial communications for general guidance until we know all dependencies and can provide customer commit date (CCD).

  • Intervals are estimates and represent business days from the date you sign the contract until the date Colt installs your service.

  • Orders requiring network expansion to the building may incur an additional 30–65 business days’ lead times.

  • Longest terminating region interval applies.

  • For Colt Managed Security Services and Managed IP VPN, add a minimum of 5 business days.

  • Voice and Colt Voice Complete® service level objectives dependent on related access service level objectives.

  • Voice and Colt Voice Complete® service level objectives dependent on related access service level objectives.

Intervals for changing existing services

Use the intervals below as a guide to when Colt can complete modifications to your service, such as bandwidth changes (or other modifications which change the charges on your bill). These install intervals are non-binding estimates and subject to change at any time at Colt’s sole discretion. These modifications differ from change requests (such as configuration or routing changes)—which we can typically complete more quickly. Usually, you submit change requests through Control Center rather than contacting your account team.
