One of the benefits of being part of our CAB community is the opportunity to take these conversations further through focused follow-up sessions. We'll be building on the topics discussed - along with areas we didn't have time to fully explore - through a series of more exclusive, deep-dive conversations designed to validate our roadmap and continue important discussions, including sustainaibility.
These sessions are intended to be targeted and high-value, and we'll be in touch to invite you, or the most relevant members of your team, to take part.
In the meantime, if there's a particular area that you'd like to explore further, we would very much welcome you reaching out.
01
trust, security and resilience set the standard
Security, resilience and trust emerged as the essential foundations for every future conversation, from growth and transformation to innovation and AI. We heard clearly that service availability, observability, sovereignty and fast recovery times matter deeply, and that progress only feels meaningful when it is built on infrastructure and partnerships that inspire confidence, protect continuity and reduce complexity.
02
roadmap progress matters most when its visible and relevant
Roadmap discussions highlighted continued investment in network expansion, platform development and future service capabilities, with a strong emphasis on creating long-term relevance and improving customer experience. We heard that this direction is valued, but also that earlier visibility, clearer commitments and more strategic dialogue would make it easier to understand what is coming next and how it will translate into practical value for your own environment.
03
simplicity remains one of the biggest opportinities
Simplicity remains one of the clearest opportunities to improve the customer experience, particularly across quoting, ordering, provisioning and delivery. We heard that while there is clear focus on reducing handoffs, improving accountability and streamlining the quote-to-order journey, the experience can still feel too complex, especially where off-net or partner deliver is involved, and that greater standardisation, clearer timelines and a smoother path from request to outcome would make a real difference.
04
ai is shaping the conversation, even as adoption matures
AI is clearly shaping the conversation, particularly in relation to future network design, distributed architectures, multi-cloud environments and the need for greater control, visibility and secure connectivity. We heard strong interest in practical use cases, governance and long-term implications, alongside a measured approach to adoption and a clear preference for innovation that is grounded in real operational value rather than ambition alone.
05
the human experience remains a clear differentiator
Automation is valued as a key enabler of speed, consistency and efficiency, but not at the expense of responsiveness, accountability or customer intimacy. We heard that you have a clear appetite to grow with our technology capabilities and ambitions. While our technology is seen as essential, it is our people, the strength of our relationships, our openness, and the ease of access to our teams, that continues to stand out as a meaningful differentiator and a core part of what you value in Colt.
Help us improve
We'd love for you to let us know your experience at our recent CAB meeting, so that we can make the next event even better.
