Colt offers two options for providing the devices:
- Customer-managed: Colt rents the device to the customer, who is responsible for its ongoing management. Colt will handle delivery, installation and break/fix support
- Colt-managed: Colt takes full responsibility for end-to-end management of the device, including all operational and maintenance tasks.
uCPE stands for universal Customer Premises Equipment. It’s a general-purpose networking device used to run virtual network functions, or VNFs. VNFs are essentially software versions of network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls. That means you can consolidate an entire networking tech stack into a single uCPE box, saving money and reducing management complexity.
Colt CPE solutions is available with all Colt network services such as Internet Access, IP VPN (MPLS) and for connecting to cloud.
