Analysys Mason recognises Colt for Unified Communications

Colt has been profiled in the Analysys Mason report; ‘Operator approaches to unified communications (UC): ten case studies’. This is a fantastic recognition of our portfolio and Colt Intelligent Communications solution, with the report emphasising our high-quality enterprise voice connectivity, customer care and professional services.

Analysys Mason has previously written on UC service drivers and trends in both regional and global markets. However, this report is the first of its kind to assess the approaches of individual operators. The report considers how different operators are providing cloud-based Unified Communications, based on measures such as the range of services available and key service differentiators.

“Colt’s simple UC strategy aligns with its overall approach in the business market: to focus on high quality connectivity and customer service,” said Analysys Mason. “It’s UC portfolio is centred around voice integration into Microsoft Teams and it aims to differentiate with strong SLAs, dedicated connectivity, and high-quality support. Colt has a high NPS by industry standards. Good customer service, professional services for planning and deployment, and a customer portal for SLA monitoring and self service help Colt to achieve a high level of satisfaction.”

Analysys Mason recognised Colt as a multinational player, highlighting our global network with our voice and data services spanning over 30 countries. The role of Unified Communications has increased dramatically in the last year – with more people working remotely there has been an increased demand for collaboration tools to work seamlessly, regardless of location.

The challenge now is how this can be scaled up – many organisations simply do not have the set-up in place to cope with a sudden surge in employees working remotely. Is your corporate network ready to provide the best customer experience both to your office and remote workforce? Do you have clear policies and governance in place? Is everyone secure? How can voice be activated on your cloud platform of choice?

Our Intelligent Communication strategy integrates Microsoft Office 365 with our fully convergent tier 1 network. This gives Teams an extra level of functionality and resiliency while providing a full cloud solution with a simple procurement through Colt’s footprint, enabling a single point of contact and support for all your UC needs.

Colt continue to drive the market forward with the recent launch of our Cloud SBC capability, providing a rapid full cloud solution for Direct Routing, avoiding any on premise equipment and remotely provisioned in days.
