CDP awards Colt an ‘A-‘ rating for climate change disclosure for the second consecutive year and an ‘A’ rating for supplier engagement for the third year running
Colt Technology Services, the global digital infrastructure company, today announced it has secured an ‘A-‘ and an ‘A’ rating from CDP – formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project – recognising its continued action against climate change. CDP awarded Colt an ‘A-‘ for Climate Change Disclosure for the second consecutive year and an ‘A’ for Supplier Engagement Assessment for the third consecutive year. The recognition comes during a record year for CDP with more than 24,800 companies disclosing their environmental data through the organisation – a 7% increase since the previous year.
CDP’s ‘A-‘ rating for Climate Change Disclosure recognises Colt’s commitment to environmental transparency and performance. Its ‘A’ rating for Supplier Engagement secures Colt’s position in the leadership category for its collaboration with suppliers to address climate change.
CDP is a globally respected non-profit organisation that runs the world’s only independent environmental disclosure system for companies, capital markets, cities, states and regions to manage their environmental impacts. The recognition follows Colt’s EcoVadis Platinum rating for the third year in a row, announced earlier this year.
Caroline Griffin Pain, chief legal officer, Colt Technology Services said, “Securing an ‘A-’ for our action against climate change and an ‘A’ rating for our supplier engagement from CDP reflects our passion, energy and commitment to driving actionable and positive environmental change. We’re particularly proud that we’ve consistently maintained this high standard over several consecutive years and during CDP’s highest-ever year for submissions. We know there’s more to do, but we firmly believe in measuring and sharing our performance and holding ourselves accountable. Together, progress is powerful”.
