Founded in 1996, J SPORTS Corporation is Japan’s largest sports-specialised television network. Operating under the philosophy “We love sports, deliver the truth of sports, and share the excitement of sports with our customers,” J SPORTS broadcasts and streams a wide range of domestic and international sports including baseball, football, motorsports, rugby, and cycling. It is the only broadcaster in Japan offering a four-channel multi-programming format.
Beyond traditional broadcasting, J SPORTS provides live coverage and streaming through its flagship service, J SPORTS On Demand. Accessible across smartphones, PCs and tablets, this platform has become central to the company’s strategy, reflecting the shift in viewing habits towards on-demand, multi-device consumption.

The broadcasting industry is rapidly evolving, with audiences increasingly consuming content via streaming services rather than traditional television. Broadcasters must deliver large volumes of data securely and with ultra-low latency, while adapting workflows to cloud-based production models. Remote production, where footage is uploaded directly from event venues to the cloud for editing and distribution, is becoming the new standard. J SPORTS needed infrastructure capable of supporting this transformation while ensuring reliability and scalability.
