Colt wins double at Global Carrier Awards 2022

Capacity Europe, Europe’s largest telecoms networking event, comes to a close in London later today after four days of connecting the global ICT infrastructure industry.
Celebrating its 22nd year, Capacity Europe 2022 has been an unmissable event, bringing together network operators, data centres, cloud providers, internet exchanges, content providers, satellite communities and more to network, connect and share ideas.
Colt has been the Host Sponsor for the event this year and our executives have enjoyed catching up with contacts and building new connections with our colleagues, partners and customers.
Just a couple of highlights have been hearing our CEO, Keri Gilder, in the keynote panel ‘Architecting the network of the future’, where she discussed what digital infrastructure is needed to meet the huge demand driven by the Metaverse and Web 3.0, and our sponsorship of the Day 1 ‘Talent in Telecoms’ agenda, with Head of Inclusion & Diversity, Rachel Collins, delivering an I&D-focused masterclass.
Alongside the full-on agenda of keynotes, speakers, meetings and drinks, the Global Carrier Awards (GCAs) is an evening inseparably tied to the excitement of Capacity Europe. Wholesale telecoms’ largest face-to-face awards, the GCAs is a celebration of the incredible work being done in the industry to drive it forward for customers and the industry itself.
Colt was there last night and we’re thrilled to have taken home two trophies for Best Marketing Campaign and Best Blockchain/Security Innovation!
Our, now award-winning, Extraordinary Connections account-based marketing campaign leverages extensive data insights, enabling us to engage with our customers in a highly tailored way. It’s Colt’s most bespoke and innovative campaign to date and tells our customers exactly why Colt is a perfect match for their connectivity.
The second win was alongside Console Connect, Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier, and Vodafone Business, in the Best Blockchain/Security Innovation category. Together, we created a ground-breaking blockchain-based open network for automated inventory and billing settlement of telco data services, making it more cost-effective and simpler than ever before.
