Colt and Telekom Deutschland Advance Sonata Integration

Colt and Telekom Deutschland continue to make strong progress in their strategic collaboration to implement the Mplify Sonata API suite, reinforcing a shared commitment to digital transformation and next-generation service delivery. Building on a solid foundation, both organisations are advancing the implementation of Mplify Sonata APIs for Carrier Ethernet Operator services, including Access eLine and UNI. The current framework supports the LSO Sonata Grace release and is designed to evolve alongside future versions.

The integration spans several core API domains, including Address Management, Product Offering Qualification (POQ), Quote Management, and Product Order Management, forming a robust backbone for automated, API-driven service delivery.

Significant milestones have already been achieved. Address Validation and POQ APIs have successfully completed implementation and testing, with formal validation confirmed and all required administrative agreements finalised. Testing of the Quote API is currently underway, with full operational service launch targeted for early 2027.

As the industry accelerates towards Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) ecosystems and increased automation, Colt and Telekom Deutschland underscore the importance of continued progress in digitising production processes. Through the adoption of Mplify standards, the focus remains on enabling scalable, efficient service delivery. With several suppliers already evaluating investments in automation capabilities for 2026, this partnership represents a key step toward building a fully digital, scalable service ecosystem, laying the groundwork for future innovation, including AI readiness.”
