Blockbusters – alongside three digital partners, Colt bags the Best Digital Transformation Project Award for their blockchain solution

Together with a supergroup of partners, Colt’s blockchain solution won the Telco Innovation award at the 2023 Future Digital Awards hosted by Juniper Research. This recognition is a testament to our and our partners’ commitment to driving innovation and delivering cutting-edge solutions for our customers.
This partnership was recognised for its collaboration with three other industry-leading carriers: Deutsche Telekom, Vodafone and PCCW. This solution exemplifies the power of collaboration and teamwork in today’s digital landscape. By bringing together the expertise of four leading carriers, we were able to create a truly innovative solution that addresses modern customer needs.
It’s not the first time our solution has earned an award, either. This quartet of carriers was also named the best blockchain innovation at the 2022 Global Carrier Awards, best network transformation at the World Communication Awards and the best service innovation at the Layer123 Network Transformation Awards.
The potential of blockchain technology extends far beyond cryptographic currencies and non-fungible token (NFT) exchanges. The improved security, reduced cost and increased transparency of blockchain technology lends value to a broad scope of industries – from finances and voting, to healthcare and the internet of things (IoT) – or in our award winning case, being able to fix a multi-billion euro industry problem and generate first-time-right invoices between carriers onboarded onto the platform.
The platform also allows our partners to avoid manual validation and create automatic payments, in turn improving relationships with their sellers. Internally, the solution allows us and our partners to secure cashflow, reduce pain-points with customers and focus more on our relationships with them – rather than fixing difficult issues that have now been automated.
Today, it’s all about partnerships and collaboration. By working together, companies like Colt and our partners can create unique solutions that would not have been possible otherwise.
