Colt ranks in Vertical Systems Group’s new Global Provider SD WAN LEADERBOARD

Colt has been recognised in Vertical Systems Group’s new Global Carrier Managed SD WAN LEADERBOARD, appearing in the ‘Challenge Tier”. The LEADERBOARD is measured on the number of sites outside of an operator’s home country and covers five regional markets; North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa/Middle East and Asia/Pacific.

Since December 2020, Colt has launched SD WAN 2.0 to bring a richer suite of features to businesses, launched a global white label SD WAN solution and just last month announced the launch of SD WAN Remote Access to meet the secure remote access needs of its SD WAN customers as they move towards a hybrid way of working. Colt is also one of only five companies in the entire study to have attained MEF 3.0 Certification for its SD WAN offering.

‘Companies in the Challenge Tier contribute more than one-quarter of global provider sites and Colt has made several recent announcements that elevate its global managed SD-WAN offering,” said Rick Malone, Principal, Vertical Systems Group. “This is Vertical’s first LEADERBOARD for Global Provider Carrier Managed SD-WAN and appearing in the Challenge Tier shows that Colt is a solid provider outside of its home market.”

The report highlighted a number of challenges that are simultaneously driving the market for SD WAN, including workforce health protection, tracking the shift back from remote to office environments, service disconnects due to business closures, and supply chain disruptions. Hybrid work in particular is driving significant interest in the benefits of secure remote access, as businesses try to manage a much more flexible workforce.
