If your organisation is spread across Europe and its success relies upon the volume and quality of your outbound calls, then you may have experienced some of the following problems: escalating costs, due to rising call rates; increased administration, from dealing with multiple vendors; and low quality voice services or a lack of network provision because you’ve been unable to find a truly end-to-end provider. Colt can solve these issues.

Colt Voice Line offers you a ‘one-stop-shop’ solution that not only addresses your operational problems but also eases the pressure on your budget. Once you’re linked directly into our highly resilient pan-European fibre-optic network spanning 13 countries, you can make and receive voice and data calls to and from local, national, international, non-geographic and mobile numbers.

As your sole provider for Europe, Colt can simplify your billing and budgetary control. And you can further off-set the administrative burden thanks to our ability to offer you a centralised SLA. Additionally, Colt Voice Line lets you leverage your call spend across all of your European sites, so you get far better call rates than if you sourced your voice services nationally. What’s more, you can enjoy competitively-priced global coverage thanks to our direct interconnection agreements with the world’s largest telecom operators.

As well as operational simplicity and cost-effectiveness, Colt Voice Line delivers a high quality of service too. This is assured because the Colt network has no voice compression and gives you the option of carrying aggregated voice and data traffic over a single connection - saving you even more money and enabling your business to grow.

Colt Voice Line directly connects your premises to Colt’s wholly owned and managed pan-European, fibre-optic network. This gives you better call rates than your existing country-by-country deals, and offers you cost-effective global coverage thanks to Colt’s worldwide bilateral carrier agreements and interconnections. What’s more, you only have to deal with a single operator across the whole of Europe.

The migration to Colt is simple. As long as your PBX supports the standard protocols in each of the 13 European countries where we operate, you’ll be able to access the service using the physical connection and associated equipment we supply. Your access options relate to your sites’ traffic profiles - there’s a choice of bi-directional 2Mbps, 45Mbps or 155Mbps pipes - but in any event, the core Colt network typically runs at a service availability of 99.95%.

If we can’t directly connect your site to our network, we’ll use a tail circuit from a third-party supplier to make the link from the Colt transmission node nearest your premises. And in some Colt operating countries, we’ll use a digital subscriber line (DSL) to connect to your lower-volume sites.

However you connect, Colt Voice Line is capable of carrying integrated voice and data calls to and from local, national, international, mobile and non-geographic numbers. And the service’s extensive features, such as Calling Line Identification Presentation and Direct Dialling In, will help increase your operational flexibility. Additionally, our monthly paper bill and call detail records (including the time, duration, destination and cost of each call) ensure that you stay in control.
