By strengthening its Voice presence in the region, Colt Technology Services will continue to power enterprises’ digital transformations across Asia.

London, UK, 17th January 2019Colt Technology Services has today announced an expansion of its SIP Trunking offering to two new territories in Asia; Hong Kong and Singapore. Taking Colt’s global SIP trunking footprint to 23 countries globally.

Colt is bringing to Hong Kong and Singapore its 26-year track record of providing business Voice services to global enterprises. The service allows multinational organisations to work with one trusted provider, which not only removes the complexities of managing multiple suppliers but eliminates any added concerns around complying with regulatory requirements in each country. As part of this expansion, wholesale providers will be able to extend their reach in Asia by reselling Global SIP services under their own brand.

Recently the telecommunications industry has been transitioning from legacy ISDN services to the next generation of Voice over IP technology – SIP trunking. Having launched SIP trunking over a decade ago, Colt is a leader in this market, offering a feature-rich product that is thoroughly tested and certified by all main IP PBX vendors.

Extending its SIP trunking and Voice proposition further in Asia highlights how the region is playing an essential role in Colt’s ever-growing global footprint. In Asia, The Colt IQ Network connects to more than 95 data centres and 6,800 on net buildings, along with more than 850 data centres and over 27,500 enterprise buildings globally.

Colt’s Chief Operating Officer, Rajiv Datta, said: “Colt strives to be the driving force behind organisations’ digital transformations, and this latest extension of our Voice offering is just a continuation of that goal. We know that businesses no longer operate inside country borders, so we ensure that our agile, and trusted services are available wherever our customers do business.

“Colt can be a driver as organisations move to ensure they are ready for their next wave of growth because we aim to not only be a provider but a partner on this journey.”

The two new countries announced today are in addition to the 21 where Colt SIP Trunking services are already available. They are; Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, UK, Japan, Norway, Finland, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Luxembourg, and Slovakia.
