From the inside out – The new Colt Engage blog
Welcome to the new Colt Engage blog, your source of information for anything relating to technology for small and medium-sized enterprises! If you want to know more about how technology can positively change your business, then you’ve found the right place.
Our new Engage blog focuses on issues that affect SMEs and the technological solutions that can help to overcome these. Are you facing decisions about outsourcing IT solutions? Have you experienced rapid growth of your data and are wondering how to best segment and process it? Do you need to make a decision on how best to support your storage needs or business applications?
We know that these are all questions affecting IT and business decision makers across the globe on a daily basis. In this blog we aim to crystallise those issues and provide some thoughts about how to best tackle these challenges. As such we’ve created several different sections to group our thoughts:
- Connect looks at how improved networking, wireless and bandwidth can help your business
- Collaborate focuses on those tools and services that improve working together and help maximise productivity
- Protect looks at security issues surrounding technology and keeping your data safe
- Communicate focuses on how your business talks both internally and externally, looking at the latest advances in Voice, VoIP and Unified Communications.
Overall we want to encourage on-going conversation around how SMEs might best operate in continued challenging economic conditions. Traditionally, SMEs have often provided innovative ways of improving business practice, which are then picked-up by large enterprises. At Engage we hope to provide a hub for those problem-solving discussions.
If you are interested and want to be updated on the latest SME news, then we encourage you to register for our monthly newsletter, which will keep you informed about everything happening on this blog. Welcome to Engage and to a bright, new 2013!
