Colt continues its winning streak at the 2019 MEF Awards

HomeBlogsColt continues its winning streak at the 2019 MEF Awards

Last week Colt won five awards at the 2019 MEF Awards evening, picking up the prizes for; Europe – Network & Service Innovation, Europe – Retail Service Provider of the Year, Europe – Wholesale Service Provider of the Year, LSO Leadership in partnership with AT&T and Enterprise Application – Advertising.

These awards further confirm that Colt provides industry-leading service to its customers and is continuing to drive innovation across the wider industry.

The awards evening was a part of the MEF19 global networking event, which took place in Los Angeles, California. Colt was there alongside other world-class service and technology experts, analysts and the media to discuss the transformation to a global ecosystem of automated networks.

As a business, we understand the importance of collaboration in driving better processes and have been championing the adoption of a single common language across service providers for some time now.

A great example of this is Colt and AT&T’s innovative, and now triple award-winning, application of MEF’s LSO Sonata APIs, meaning that AT&T can now place automated orders for Colt’s Ethernet Services. This integration enables AT&T to validate site addresses, check service availability, get a quote, and place automated orders on Colt’s network. This initial success is just the beginning, and both AT&T and Colt aim to on-board additional carriers and drive further adoption across the industry in the coming year.

Colt, so far, has had a fantastic year for awards, with recent wins at the Global Carrier Awards and the Network Transformation Awards, and these additional accolades reinforce Colt’s position as a leader in the development and delivery of connectivity services, as well as excellence in network and service innovation.

We look forward to continuing this trajectory and building a more dynamic environment for the digital ecosystem of tomorrow.
