Every new vehicle will be connected, generating high-volume data that needs to be transferred to and from the cloud. The biggest challenge will be efficiently processing and delivering this data, while maintaining speed, security and reliability. This is where edge computing has a pivotal role to play.
Edge computing has to be underpinned by an agile network that can support high capacity and extreme low latency, with the ability to scale bandwidth up and down into these new edge locations.
